The side effects of an egg collection depend on several factors. For instance, if the procedure is easy or difficult, patients may experience varying levels of discomfort. Some patients may have small ovaries that are challenging to reach, resulting in more pain afterward. Additionally, the response of the patients plays a role, as those who produce a lot of eggs may feel more bloated and distended compared to those with fewer follicles. Furthermore, the occurrence of bleeding after the collection is common, but in some cases, it may be heavier than usual, as the blood can be irritating. However, we expect that within the first 24 hours after the procedure, the patient should be able to resume normal activities.
