Freya Fertility is a private IVF clinic located in Herning, Denmark. It was founded in 2020 by Dr Tina Snebang-Storgaard. The clinic is based in a purpose-built building on the ground floor, offering full accessibility for patients with disabilities and free parking directly at the entrance.
Freya Fertility has no waiting lists, allowing patients to start treatment without unnecessary delays. The clinic provides comprehensive care, including support with accommodation through partnerships with local hotels, as well as 24/7 assistance from the specialist team and a doctor. The staff speaks English, Danish, and German.
Freya Fertility welcomes patients for consultations and all fertility treatments at its clinic in Herning, a city located in central Denmark’s Jutland region. Freya Fertility is conveniently reachable from several airports. Billund Airport is approximately 40 minutes away by car or taxi, while Aarhus Airport is around 1 hour and 10 minutes away by car. For patients travelling by car, the clinic is also located close to the highway network, making it easy to access for both Danish and international visitors.
To support international patients, the clinic provides practical guidance throughout the journey. While airport pick-ups are not offered directly, car rental services are available at the airports. Hotel accommodation information can be provided upon request, and the clinic team assists with travel planning and logistical arrangements to help ensure a smooth treatment experience.
Medical Team
Freya Fertility’s medical director is Dr Tina Snebang-Storgaard, a specialist in gynecology and obstetrics with extensive experience from well-established Danish fertility centers. She gained her expertise at the fertility clinic at the regional hospital in Horsens, the university hospital in Odense, and a private clinic in Århus, before founding Freya Fertility in 2020.
Dr Snebang-Storgaard is strongly committed to individualized treatment, believing that every woman and every couple is unique and should be cared for accordingly. She personally performs all IVF scans and is present at the clinic every day, ensuring patients receive consistent and highly personalized care throughout their treatment journey.
The team at Freya Fertility, including the doctor, speaks English and Danish, with additional German spoken by the clinic secretary and one embryologist. Patients receive personalized support, and communication remains smooth through email and translation tools when needed. The clinic ensures prompt replies and offers emergency support via email throughout the treatment process.

The clinic provides strong laboratory support, including embryo monitoring with EmbryoScope at no additional cost, extended culture to the blastocyst stage (free of charge), and additional tools such as EmbryoGlue and AI-assisted embryo evaluation.
Egg donors are matched to recipients based on key phenotypic characteristics such as height, weight, eye colour, and hair colour, as well as the patient’s preference for an open or anonymous donor. The clinic also offers a personal matching service for individual women and couples. Most egg donors are of Danish ethnicity with a Caucasian appearance, while sperm donors of all ethnicities are available through partner sperm banks.
As previously mentioned, Freya Fertility has no waiting list for treatments using a patient’s own eggs. Fresh donor egg cycles typically have a waiting time of only 1–2 months, depending on the desired donor characteristics. All egg donation treatments are based on fresh donations. In most cases, donor eggs are fertilized and embryos are vitrified on day 5–6, followed by frozen embryo transfer, although fresh embryo transfer is possible if timing aligns with the recipient’s cycle. Blastocyst transfer is standard practice at the clinic to support optimal outcomes.
