Before the specific immunological tests I usually advise gynecologists to check with ultrasound whether the status of the uterus is okay. The lining of the uterus has to be okay – not to have any endometriosis because it will also increase the NK cells all we have other issues and then the embryo cannot be implanted. For those women that they’re a little bit older than 35 years old they have to do their hysterosalpingography so we don’t see any blockages in the passages of the egg through the fallopian tubes. It’s a very important test for the gynecologist to do and to have the woman ready. Of course, the thickness of the endometrium is a very important issue. Specifically and scientifically we’ve seen the women that had the thickness of endometrium 9.5 millimeters and above, the results are more and more interesting and they have more chances to have a successful pregnancy than women with lower thickness of the endometrium – whether we regulated the immune status of these ladies, they have even problems of conceiving with IVF trials so that’s why we encourage before the IVF trial, one day before the implantation of the embryo, to check the thickness of the endometrium.
