No, when ovulation occurs, if it is normal ovulation your follicle will transform into a corpus luteum and this corpus luteum will produce progesterone. Progesterone will block LH. LH is necessary for ovulation, ovulation occur when LH rise quickly and very high and it is provoked egg maturation and rupture of follicles so, if you have, for example, two follicle: one is ready for ovulation and another will be ready like in four, five days, it will be blocked by this mechanism. If one follicle ovulates, progesterone rises, LH drops and that’s it.
