With the experience that we have gained with all those years, we know that after the diagnostic tests, the exact amount (or cocktail) of the intralipid solution that will be given as infusion to lady or we have to perform diagnostic test in order to give final solution and with that solution we give as standard and every month we regulate NK markers of this lady. So, we are very specific, depending again on the diagnostic test before for the IVF trial, we have maximum of 3 infusions: 2 before IVF trial and one after 8 to 12 weeks of gestation which is the first trimester and this way the immune status is clear and the pregnancy is secured and with expert gynecologist can go after 9 months of pregnancy.
For natural pregnancy, we have to perform a set – once we know the dosage for a particular lady, then every 2 months we perform individual dosage to give her a chance to get pregnant naturally and keep the pregnancy.
I start with a closer assessment including a Chicago test very close to the treatment or very close when the patient is planning to get pregnant. Those tests will give me the understanding or the feeling about the immune system in this body and according to this information I make a plan for the patient or how she will calm down her immune system until the day of embryo transfer, so that how it normally works. I must stress that the assessment is with initial consultation, I do prefer to discuss those things to feel how the patient’s body is around and then, the blood test will confirm those “feelings’ ‘. That’s how it normally works. I have spoken with many patients about this problem, you can see the types of patients, you can see from medical history who can have higher BMF, who have more frequent naturally activated Natural Killer Cells or who have very minor reactions that would be very easy to deal with to get successfully pregnant. I must say that when I first started to deal with the immune system, women who had treatment for the immune system were women who were undergoing IVF treatment. I must say that since then, almost 13 years ago, I developed a protocol in order to help women with those minor immunological reactions to get pregnant naturally without the use of IVF. I think this was very important, works in many of them but the most important is the assessment.
