There are a lot of studies around that, we need larger studies towards this but usually, there is some evidence around certain supplements like Co Q10, zinc, riboflavin (B2), B6 and B12. These kinds of supplements are working towards the oxidative state that can increase the cell division and can lead to more normal fertilisation. But these can work when the underlying factor does not exist. When we have a woman with endometriosis and DNA sperm from a patient, these will not be the solution to the problem. But when we try to increase our odds through a fertility treatment, it is very good to have a good supplementation in order to boost our success rates for the fertilisation of our eggs faster cell division.
It’s really difficult. I’m still repeating the same question again: isn’t it about lifestyle? You’ve got to think about everything you can do to optimize your chances, so it is sort of seeking medical help, it’s getting the test done, it’s looking at your lifestyle, it’s doing everything you can within a time frame.
Actually there’s nothing we can do so far to increase it as we talked earlier. There’s a lot of things in research right now but none of them have shown us a good answer to this question. So far there’s not a way we can improve our ovarian reserve.
