Dr José Antonio Domínguez Arroyo is a highly experienced obstetrician and gynaecologist with a specialization in reproductive medicine. He is the Medical Director of the Instituto Extremeño de Reproducción Asistida (IERA) in Badajoz and Lisbon, Portugal, a position he has held since the founding of both centres. Dr Domínguez is also an Associate Professor at the University of Extremadura, where he teaches Gynaecology and Obstetrics, and serves as a scientific advisor and CCMI collaborating professor at Jesús Usón in Cáceres. He was a Vocal of the SEF from 2018 to 2022 and is a member of the research group for Reproduction and Embryonic Development under the Junta de Extremadura BBB010. Dr Domínguez is part of the board of directors of the Spanish Society for the Study of Myomas and Endometriosis (SEEME).
